The five-piece, progressive improvisational act Ultraviolet Hippopotamus is excited to announce its 2012 Telektonon Tour featuring more than 30 dates in 15 states throughout the Midwest, Southeast and Colorado from Feb. 1 – March 17. The “Launch Party” for the tour is in the band’s hometown of Grand Rapids on Feb. 4 at The Pyramid Scheme and includes original guitarist Sam Guidry who joins the band for first time since his final appearance on New Year’s Eve 2010. The tour is also highlighted by a week of shows in Colorado and features a four-day run supporting Papadosio in Bloomington, Urbana, Chicago and St. Louis at the end of February. January 4, 2012 — Having made one of 2011′s most impressive rock’n’roll comebacks that included the 9/13/11 release of the band’s long-awaited new album Worship Music that landed on boatloads of “Best of 2011…” lists, metal masters ANTHRAX will keep the pedal to the metal in 2012. Dayton , OH – December 23, 2011 – Following an impressive 2011 that saw the band crisscross the country numerous times, Ohio’s rising stars, The Werks, have launched plans for next year. To celebrate the entrance of 2012, The Werks have joined forces with Papadosio for the largest live concert event in Ohio over NYE weekend with nights at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH with numerous special guests.
